2007.05.31 - In thy depths
In thy depths
In the depths of thy eyes, I used to see thy smile
Which is now running fast away mile after mile.
All along thy red hair, I used to see a world
That I tried to describe, writing word after word.
I could have taken thee in one of these new worlds
That I would have told thee within a thousand words,
But thou doest not heed me when I walk toward thee;
Now I know that my love is dead when I see thee.
In my heart and my soul, all my words and my ink
Could ever have drawn me; thinking ofthee I sink.
My ink folwed in my hand, over darkness of night,
My ink flowed in the night and paper shall be white.
